As mentioned in my previous post about Costa Rica I spent the majority of my time exploring the area around the Rio Magnolia Lodge and found a total of 166 species during my time there with ten of those life birds.  The area is a great location with an elevation around 800m which provides both lower and higher elevation species with open areas, edges, gardens, and primary forest.
