Waterfowl at the beginning and end of the day

I made another brief stop at Hadley Cove this morning and yet again had quite a selection of waterfowl with 19 Wood Ducks, two Green winged Teal, seven Ring necked Ducks, nine Common Mergansers, 11 Black Ducks, 1650+ Canada Geese and 38 Mallards plus a few hybrid Mallard x Black Ducks.  These numbers were minimums as many were in the flooded woods and my time was limited. 

In the evening I stopped by Winsor Dam (no waterfowl due to gull patrol) and then over to Beaver Lake in Ware to follow up on a report of a few Snow Geese there.  No luck with the geese but I did have 28 Ring necked Ducks, a couple Common Goldeneye, a couple Bufflehead, five Hooded Mergansers, three Common Mergansers and a pair of Mallards.
