I had a more abbreviated morning of birding today due to the weather and other commitments but found some decent stuff nonetheless (especially before the wind picked up). I hit just Quabbin Park and nearby Covey WMA and managed 17 species of warbler among the 90 overall species. 'Only' two new birds for the year (Veery and Least Flycatcher) but given that I got 15 new ones yesterday I was happy to find any new ones today. Certainly more stuff came in last night with increased numbers of many species compared to yesterday. Here are the eBird lists from both locations.

I also tried for Eastern Whip Poor Wills this morning without luck but was rewarded with some Great Horned Owls including some young making all kinds of weird noises and bill smacking.

The next few days will feature sunny conditions but a decent northwest wind so migration will be minimal until the conditions change toward the end of the week.
