Back from another great trip to Costa Rica (much more about that in later post) and feeling jet lagged but I just had to get a little to see what stuff has arrived during my week and a half absence. I hit a few spots close to home and added three new species to the county list for the year: Eastern Towhee (#114), Palm Warbler (#115) and Yellow rumped Warbler (#116). Other highlights included a few Rusty Blackbirds at home and at Lake Wallace, 62 Ring necked Ducks and some Bufflehead at Beaver Lake and a noticeable increase in other species including Yellow bellied Sapsucker, Ruby crowned Kinglet, Pine Warbler, Chipping Sparrow and Swamp Sparrow.
