Today I headed out around the local area around Quabbin Park with highlights including a silent Cerulean Warbler I found in a mixed species flock near Goodnough Dike, a Blue winged Warbler with a yellow wing patch and a Bobcat I ran across as I was checking a marsh complex in Belchertown.

Yesterday I took advantage of another day off and great weather and hit a wide variety of areas.  Loads of birds around with 109 species for the day including 24 species of warbler with the highlights including Worm eating Warblers at UMASS, Mitch's Way and Skinner SP, Cerulean Warblers, Tennessee Warblers and Mourning Warbler.  New species for the year included an early Yellow bellied Flycatcher at UMASS (#192), Black billed Cuckoo (#193) and Mourning Warbler (#194) at Mitch's Way, a Lincoln's Sparrow (#195) at Covey WMA and a flyby Yellow billed Cuckoo (#196) I heard at home around ten at night.  Full lists below:

Meanwhile back at home I continue to get some great captures on my motion camera at my new water feature with seven new species yesterday (including three species of warblers, a Scarlet Tanager and a Swainson's Thrush) and another one today (Ruby throated Hummingbird!).  So far I have captured 17 species of birds and three species of mammals on the camera.
